What: Global warming will change our world unless we choose to change first! Figure out how by taking part in the free Climate Reality event at the Alameda Earth Palooza. Join Julian Aldridge, Climate Reality Leader, and Jessica Jane Robinson, CEO & founder of Resilience Birthright, as they they exchange ideas on how to resolve climate crises. Stop by and learn how to heal the planet!

 

The event's speakers, including mayor Trish Spencer, Maricelle Cardenas from StopWaste, and Laura McKaughan from the Northern CA Recycling Association, will answer your questions about sustainable and healthy lifestyles, solar energy for your home and business, and about the economic and environmental benefits of electric vehicles. These local experts will also share their techniques of using green initiatives to improve health, as there are hundreds of actions that Alameda residents can take part in to help solve the climate crisis, actions that can enhance quality of life both privately and for the community.

 

 

 

Switching your vehicle to a greener version can help heal the planet and your budget. This event will be a great opportunity to learn more about the 2017 Bolt Ev, a battery-electric car that has won many awards, including Motor Trend's 2017 Car of the Year. This event is part of the Alameda Earth Palooza, a season of caring about the earth that highlights Alameda as one of the greenest cities in California. Environmental groups and organizations, along with businesses owners, will demonstrate their sustainable initiatives to the city.
