    The waterfront heart of Christmas in Oakland is just 7 minutes from our hotel. A festive tree lighting ceremony in Jack London Square takes place on Friday, December 6th, with live music, reindeer, and Santa on a "water sleigh" under the 55-ft. tree.

    One of the most famous holiday destinations in the United States, Christmas in San Francisco's Union Square is the West Coast version of the tree in Rockefeller Center. Be sure to join Macy's for the 24th Annual Tree Lighting on November 29th at 6pm.

    Some of the most incredibly decorated homes in Alameda are right outside our hotel. A few that stand out from recent years include the lagoon-side houses near Kilkenny Place, and the extremely festive area around the 3200 block of Thompson Avenue.
