What do you like? Because chances are, you can find it on Webster Street in Alameda. Webster street is a hot spot for a variety of foods.It has all of your usual cultural cuisines such as Mexican and Chinese and then there are some hidden gems like Peruvian and French -style.
Recently Webster street has seen the Contemporary Peruvian Bistro, Chicha, become rather popular. Chicha blends ingredients and customs from all parts of the world. Chicha prides itself on combining their native traditions with cuisines from Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and French descent. Chica brings something brand new to Alameda that is sure to strike the taste buds of many people.
Another fun, new eatery on the west end is the Cookiebar. If you’re looking for a place to stop in and get a sweet treat then Cookiebar is your one and only stop. Cookies, ice cream, milkshakes, and the occasional fusion of ice cream cookie sandwiches makes the Cookiebar the treat that is so sweet on Webster street. Cookiebar makes for a great rival of CREAM in Berkeley and it’s even better because it is in our backyard.
Those are just a few of the amazing places that are on the west end of Alameda.
