SF Pride

When: Saturday and Sunday, June 27 & 28. 12- 6 PM (starts 11 AM Sunday).
Where: Market Street, SF.
What: Be a part of a San Francisco tradition! The festival/parade is described to be "the largest gathering of LGBT people and allies in the nation."
There is no cost for the event, but a donation is recommended. Money raised from the event is donated to a variety of organizations.

Food Truck Frenzy- Reds, Whites & Blues!

When: Friday, July 3. 5- 9 PM.
Where: Rock Wall Winery: 2301 Monarch St #300, Alameda
What: Pregame for Independence Day with an amazing evening of wine tasting, dancing, and gourmet street food from some of the Bay Area's best food trucks at the Rock Wall Company, an urban winery located at the Alameda Naval Base. Experience for yourself a unique experience in the East Bay winemaking scene and sip award-winning wines under aircraft hangers in the view of the SF skyline.
This is a family-friendly event, with activities available for all ages, including free face-painting!
Cost is $6. You can get tickets here: http://ow.ly/OKHwq Admission includes a souvenir wine glass. Naturally, you must show that you are over the age of 21 to purchase wine.

July 4th Parade

When: Saturday, June 4, 10 AM.
Where: Throughout Alameda (route below).
What: Alameda’s Fourth of July Parade, which was voted the “Best Hometown Celebration” for 2007 and "Best Hometown Parade" for 2008 by the East Bay Express, is one of the largest of such parades in the nation, its route stretching out to 3.3 miles long.
Celebrate Independence Day with a much-beloved Alameda tradition. In this exciting event, organizations, businesses, and families will compete for the best float, traveling right up Webster, nearby to the Hawthorn Suites.

Concert at the Cove: Patrón Latin Rhythms

When: Friday, July 10 2015, 4:30-7:30 PM.
Where: Crab Cove Visitor Center, Alameda
What: You are invited to join Alameda as it celebrates the summer with a free outdoor festival, a second in the series, in view of the beautiful Bay! Enjoy live music from the Bay Area band Patrón Latin Rhythms, who will play different styles of Latin Music such as Latin Jazz, Latin Rock, Mambo, and even O'l Skool R& B/Latin Funk. Entertainment is available for children-stop by the visitor center at 4:30 for its nature program.
Food and beverages will be available. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs! The concert will run from 5:30 to 7:30.
