Based in Oakland, Building Blocks is an experimental drama that contemplates relationships and careers through an urban yet nostalgic lens. Its abstract visual language challenges the way we absorb stories today and ultimately asks one introspective question: Who is the reason you feel whole? Evening Details The film will screen promptly at 7:15 PM and will run 15 minutes long. After the screening, the cast & crew will hit the stage for a Q&A with the audience The reception will soon follow the screening @ TBA location and go until 11:30 PM You may also purchase a ticket to the reception individually the night of the screening The Building Blocks cast & crew can't wait to meet you!   About the Director  arthur gallery is a Charlotte, NC native now based in Oakland, CA working at Google. He graduated from Clemson University where he studied Finance and Film. arthur is committed to telling stories that help shape the way we live our daily lives- and loves finding visually unique ways of doing so. Over the past 7 years, he's written and directed a wide range of music videos and short films, of which have screened at the Portland African American Film Festival and New Filmmakers NY. Building Blocks is his first narrative picture and he's excited to share it with the world.
