Alameda Hotel Reviews

I have dealt with the Hawthorn Suites for years now and I wish to say it is the best kept secret in the Bay Area. It's location in Alameda is right near access to downtown Oakland and to San Francisco. It is quiet, reasonable, excellent staff (personable and dependable), has great restaurants nearby and is very accommodating for business meetings. Great find!

I travel monthly up and down the westcoast and this Hotel was great! Hotel seems new and very clean. The staff does a great job on the rooms as well as the grounds. Its in a good spot in the middle of Alameda. Rooms are very quiet even though it is on a main street, most likely double paned windows. Complementary breakfast is typical... heat from frozen omelets and such. Not bad... Excercise room is well equipped. Front desk staff is the friendliest I have encountered! Trevor was extremely helpful! Overall, one of my best business trips.

My recent stay at Hawthorn was great. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty and the cleaning staff does a great job with the rooms. No complaints. Great experience. Would stay again.

My stay at Hawthorn Suites Alameda was nothing short of great. The staff was so accommodating and helpful, I could not have asked for better service. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. What really made my trip was how close the hotel was to all that Alameda has to offer! Trips to Jack London Square and Fisherman's Wharf are definitely a must!
