When: Thursday May 26th, 8-11:55 PM (and June 30th)
Where: Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge: 1304 Lincoln Ave, Alameda
What: Relive the glory days of air travel and join Alameda's Forbidden Island with their International Flight Lounge! Get groovy with DJ Jab and jam to his uptempo mix of 60s French Pop, Ye-Ye, European Soundtracks, British Invasion, and more. Relax in the aloha atmosphere of the Lounge while you enjoy your drink-- the first one being free if you dressed up as a vintage flight attendant.
Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge, which is located in Alameda's historic Bay Station Shopping District, takes pride in its "aloha" atmosphere and its tropical and fun environment. Since brothers Michael and Mano Thanos opened the bar's doors in 2006, the bar has become a haven for contemporary mixology with its delicious assortment of classic and contemporary drinks, and for its uniquely-themed parties, such as Luaus and Parking-Lot Sales.
If you can't make it it to this International Flight Lounge but would like to do so, be sure to stop by June 30th, when the bar will be hosting this event again! Other events, such as their Halloween and New York Eve's parties, also spice up their hometown, along with surf/lounge band get-togethers and monthly movie nights.
The bar offers happy hours all night Monday and every weekday night from 5-7 PM, and is even available to be booked for your next Polynesian-themed party. To find out more about International Flight Lounge or any other events/parties, you can contact the bar at 510-749-0332.
