Alameda's 49th Annual Sand Castle & Sculpture Contest

When: Saturday, June 6; Registration 9- 11 AM; Judging begins at 12 PM; Awards Ceremony at 1 PM.
Where: Crown Memorial State Beach, Alameda CA
What: Experience Alameda's culture by celebrating a tradition with its residents and sand-castle fanatics. In this free, family event, the beautiful beaches of Alameda are sculpted into a landscape of imagination.

Rock Wall Wines Presents: Urban Palette 2015

When: Saturday, June 6, 1-5 PM
Where: Rock Wall Winery: 2301 Monarch St #300, Alameda, CA
What: The Rock Wall Wine Company offers wine lovers a unique experience in the East Bay winemaking scene. Sip award-winning wines under aircraft hangers in the view of the SF skyline. Your first cup of wine comes with admission, which also includes live music, performances, and local artists and crafters.

Alameda Point Antiques Faire

When: Sunday, June 7, 6 AM- 3 PM
Where: Alameda Point, Alameda, CA
What: The Alameda Point Antiques Faire is a must-attend for all antiques collectors, designers, and decorators in town. With over 800 Dealer booths, it is the largest antiques show in Northern California. It is held on the first Sunday of every month: all items are vintage.
Cost is $15. Free parking and shuttles are available.
 

Concert at the Cove: Tin Man

When: Friday, June 12 4:30-7:30 PM
Where: Crab Cove Beach, Alameda, CA
What: You are invited to join Alameda as it celebrates the beginning of summer with a free outdoor festival in view of the beautiful Bay! Enjoy live music from the Bay Area band Tin Man, who will play rock classics of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Entertainment is available for children—stop by the visitor center at 4:30 for its nature program.
 
Food and beverages will be available. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs! The concert will fun from 5:30 to 7:30.
